Weekend Report: WRAC's Title Day Headlines a Two-Weekend Sweep, With Nationals Season Ahead
The Q&A below is an editorially simulated recap based on published event information and results. It is not a verbatim interview.
WRAC brings a big day for new titles
K9 Sports Nation: Two weekends of activity brought us into November. What stands out from the results we can verify?
Experienced handler: The clearest results story is the WRAC Fall IGP Trial , held October 24 in Loretto, Ontario. Hosted by the Working Rottweiler Association of Canada under DVG America (LV/DVG), the trial offered BH and IGP1–3. Jerol Skinner judged, and Brent Alldey served as decoy. It is the one event across these two weekends with a full results table published on K9 Sports Nation.
The day included six BH passes. A fine milestone for the teams earning new titles. Joanne Fleming and Tesni Maki v Eltons Home passed, as did Ji Yao Chen and Mika. Their records were flagged, and we’re glad to spotlight the accomplishment. Daisy vom Arcane, handled by Joanne Gourgouvelis; Intel dei Precision, handled by Judith Koenig; General Dutch von Ryansluxus, handled by Rob Dyseiwicz; and Melody European K9 Training Base, handled by Suzanne Legris, also passed BH.
Suzanne Legris and Hailey European K9 Training Base recorded 82 points in FCI-IGBH. The eighth listed entry, Azor, handled by Simone Lehnhardt, was entered in IGP3 and recorded a disqualification. The complete WRAC results and individual records preserve each published outcome.
October 24–25: a busy calendar, results still awaited
K9 Sports Nation: What about the first weekend’s other events?
Experienced handler: The calendar was full, but published scores weren’t available for the completed events as of Monday, November 2. That means we can confirm the activity, not report placements or invent outcomes.
Among the IGP events were the Capital Area Schutzhund Club Trial in Charlotte, Michigan, and the Quinebaug Schutzhund Club Trial in Dayville, Connecticut, both on October 23. On October 24, Coastal Carolina Schutzhund Club held a trial in Hubert, North Carolina, while Black River Working Dogs hosted in Angier. Other listed club trials included Central Florida Schutzhund Club in Orlando, O.G. Wild Horse Schutzhund Club in Hookstown, Pennsylvania, and Western Horizons Working Dog Club in Phelan, California. The Eastern Regional Trial hosted by Salty Shepherds took place October 24–25 in Sweetwater, Tennessee, with P1–P3, PS1–PS3, and PD1–PD3 offered.
PSA teams had a one-day event hosted by Crystal Coast PSA on October 23 and a two-day trial in Richlands, North Carolina, October 24–25. The same weekend also included the Southern New Hampshire Working Dog Club and Karma Working Dog Club trials. In Milford, New Hampshire, and Springtown, Pennsylvania, respectively, their scores are still awaited.
There was tracking and other working-dog activity, too. New England K9 Athlete held a two-day CDSP obedience trial in Hanover, Massachusetts, while Synergy K9 Solutions hosted DS1 and DS2 trials in Cold Lake, Alberta. Unleashed Working Dog Club’s fall trial ran October 24–25 in New Prague, Minnesota; its event page confirms that results had not yet been recorded.
October 31–November 1: Ring sport and tracking in the mix
K9 Sports Nation: Did the second weekend bring published scores?
Experienced handler: Not in the sources checked for this report. Several IGP trials were listed as completed: Piedmont Schutzhund Club in Claremont, North Carolina, and O.G. St. Louis Working Dog Club on October 30, followed by Eagle Point Hundesport Club in Lodi, Ohio; Aussenseiter Schutzhund Club in Boyds, Maryland; South Michigan Schutzhund & Police Club in Tecumseh; Battery Point Working Dog Club in Crescent City, California; and O.G. Ohio Hundesport Club in Dalton. Eagle Point also listed a tracklayer seminar and classification on November 1.
Texas K9 hosted both French Ring and Mondioring trials under the “Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun” name in Powderly, Texas, October 31–November 1. Shannon Faltak judged, with Kevin Bain and Jesse Rodriguez listed as decoys. The USMRA results feed showed “No data was found” for both Powderly entries when checked. Scores are awaited; we’ll update the record when verified results appear.
The wider records picture also calls for patience. NARA lists no sanctioned trials on either weekend; its most recent before this window were the October 3 Western Regional and October 9 Eastern Regional, with the National next. USMRA’s most recent published score sheets predate these weekends. USCA’s results database showed October 23–24 trials listed, but scores were not yet posted, and AWMA’s Unleashed event page likewise noted that results were not recorded. We’ll keep checking rather than fill the gaps with guesses.
Looking ahead: nationals season is here
K9 Sports Nation: What’s next for the community?
Experienced handler: November opens with two national events running November 6–8. The 2026 NARA National Championship and Cup is hosted by Perimeter Working Dog Club at Allatoona Creek Park, 5690 Old Stilesboro Road NW, in Acworth, Georgia. Fred Lucien is the judge, with Nick Gamez (NARA L3) and Gregory Hugot (France L3) listed as decoys. NARA’s trial results page also lists the event.
The 2026 AWMA IGP National Championship will be hosted by OG Gartenstaat at Coppermine Pantherplex in Hampstead, Maryland. The championship site describes competition in IGP1, IGP2, and IGP3, with one phase scheduled each day.
Then, November 13–15, the USCA German Shepherd IGP National Championship comes to Coppermine Pantherplex in Hampstead, co-hosted by Blitzburg Hundesport Club. For ongoing dates and details, check the trials calendar , events calendar , and livestreams . You can also find clubs in the club directory , upcoming learning opportunities through seminars , and training resources in the Learning Center .

Here’s to the teams who earned new titles at WRAC, and to everyone preparing for the national stage. We’ll keep watching for verified score sheets and share updates as they become available. Good luck to the teams competing this month, and thank you to the clubs, officials, volunteers, and handlers who keep our sports moving forward.
